It's funny how quickly people forget that no one outside of hardcore fans knew anything about the Avengers a few years ago. People knew Hulk and then they were aware of Cap and maybe Thor or Iron Man. The X-Men have been in the public eye for longer with movies, TV shows, and toys since the 80's. For kids under 10 there might be some knowledge gap but it's' not like they are minor characters. Not saying Mystique is an a-list villain but a brotherhood set would be really popular, especially with a good Magneto figure (very unlikely now).
