I have heard others complain about how this toy was an unofficial release by another third party and Toynami just bought the mold and mad it official. I for one say SMART MOVE! If there is a cool toy out there, why reinvent the wheel? My only hope is that other companies like Hasbro/Takara would do this. There are a few unofficial Transformers out there that on par of even rival the quality of first party releases but they are just missing the license. Namely the Fans Toys Scoria (not Masterpiece Slag). Here is a well engineered, well made toy that fits perfectly in the Masterpiece line that Hasbro/Takara could make official but they have not Good job Toynami!
