I feel with your two comments as if we've offended. If it's so then firstly I apologize, no offense was intended. Secondly, I think maybe it's because the Alien figures were originally made back when, but the others are made now, the new ones feel too "clean." I don't know if that makes sense, but what I mean is the old Kenner figures were made with old techniques and machinery, to an extent so were the Alien Reactions, but a lot of these others are made with new methods and in doing so come off smoother or not quite the same. I don't know if it would've been possible to make them the old way, but it might have given them an older look rather than a new look inspired by the old look. The Predator is the one I refer to most here, it looks way too smooth and cartoon-ish (I get a Scooby Doo vibe) maybe in their efforts to simplify design to meet expectation they simplified a tad too much on that one.
I hope we don't see a Reaction series two based on how different Kenner's PotF2 line was compared to its original line (which is the look these use), can't you imagine all of these characters built like body builders and He-Man. OH YEAH!
