@Trivial Psychic: I know right? When the show started I was like F##K this kiddy character, and by the end they had successfully been developed into a likable character. Plus she participated in a scene that was a straight remake/reference to The Fugitive!
I'm on the same boat with you. I remember when I first saw Ahsoka in the Clone Wars movie...I just found myself gritting my teeth whenever she showed up. I caught myself rolling my eyes as the movie went on, thinking "of course...they have to please the kiddie audience..."
Then came the TV series, and all of that changed. It amazed me that over the course of the series, how much the character grew, and especially how much she matured. The episode where she visits Amadala's seperatist friend on Raxus and spends the day with her son was a particular favorite. I actually felt myself caring for what happened to the character, and it amazed me how far the character had come, both physically and mentally. It was like watching one of your own kids growing up.
I'm really hoping we find out at some point what happened to her in either Rebels, or in the new trilogy coming to theaters.
Hopefully she'll get a re-release at some point with her Jar Kai dual lightsaber style. I missed out on both the Clone Wars series of figs, and the vintage figs when they were released, and the prices on ebay are just ridiculous.
