(similar gameplay) about halfway through, and it was only a 6 hour game. The enemies that started out "scary" were just annoying by the end, as was hiding and having to wait until they decided to wander out of the area.
Honestly, I've only played the game for maybe 3-4 hours, but probably only accomplished 90 minutes worth of a game and I already feel it is going to get old quite fast. We'll see though. There has only been one true Xeno encounter and I just got the tracker.

Loved how the ending started to play the Carpenter theme bass line (the entire theme was pretty much just bass). The game was "eh", played it once, never bothered for a second go. The idea was better than the delivery. The Blair Witch game also sucked.
The problems with the 2011 movie included:
1. The dumb ideas from Winstead's character, such as the filling one.
2. Way too much monster.
3. CGI monster.
4. It tried too hard to make things be the way they are for McCready to find, but still managed to get them wrong.
5. The final confrontation was just stupid.
6. Very poor looking effects. THe practical stuff from Carpenter's movie looks vastly superior to the CGI of this movie.
