Hey All,

I bought one of these speeder bikes today without examining it closely, and the mold of the rider is very poor: the visor is all bent, so it looks as if he did a face plant into the side of a tree or something. I seem to recall someone else commenting that their figure mold had a serious problem. Does anybody know how I can try to straighten the plastic without ruining it?

Thanks in advance for any input. I wonder if Hasbro has some sort of customer service contact for these sorts of Quality Control issues...

Edit: I looked at others locally and found the same quality control issues, so got my money back. It appears that the figures were being boxed before the plastic was sufficiently hardened, so they became misshapen as they settled in the package. I did contact Hasbro about it, but given that I don't actually own the thing anymore, I don't expect much in the way of response. If you decide to shop for one of these, make sure that the left side of the rider's face isn't squished.
