Between the timing and the selling them on their own, they most likely we're speaking of the video game version. When I asked at my local store they made the same mistake at first. Not only will the figure not scan as an item by itself at the register, it has no price point of its own. Anyone who manages to buy one on its own must be getting a manager to manually override at the register and sell it as a generic item, or scanning in an "equivalent" item.

I'm glad I preordered on the eBay page, I'd rather have the better version of the bluray. It sounds like they went all out with the bonus features.
