I'm a NECA fan so my opinion may be a bit biased. That being said I really do love all of their figures that I've gotten. Their Predator and Alien lines are excellent, the Pacific Rim line is great too, and they took over from McFarlane toys at making the best horror stuff (Freddy Krueger, Jason, etc.). My biggest draw to NECA figures is that they're in the 7" scale with fantastic sculpt and details but only around $20. So if you're big fan of Alien but don't have the space or big budget to drop on a Hot Toys or Sideshow piece then NECA is easily the best option. One of the only problems I have with NECA figures is that it's fairly difficult and expensive to go back and get what you missed depending on how old it is and how popular it may have become. For example either the rosie or bouncer Big Daddy from Bioshock which retailed for around $25 is now at going for $80 and above. Personally if mighty Zeus himself himself came down and said "here's a shit ton of money to buy toys" and gave me said money, I'd still rather get a cluster of NECA figures than a few Hot Toys or whatever. The same reason I choose to get Marvel's 3.75" line over the 6" one, Hot Toys is really damn good at what they do and I'd maybe like to have one or two later but they'd have to be my all time favorite characters or something.

The origins figures were good too, especially for Killer Croc I heard a lot of bad things about Asylum Croc's shoulder joints breaking but nothing like that for Origins Croc.
