I think I should clarify, because I said I'd had no "major" QC issues. It's a loose description since I've definitely had QC problems, I just don't find them to be too dreadful for the toys. From their Pacific Rim line my Coyote Tango had the right cannon fall off, but it easily plugs back on and stays on even when shaken. Caesar from dotpota has the red stripe on his forehead off-center, Elder Predator v2 has a spot of silver under his right eye, blue warrior alien has bowed legs and can't stand upright without support, and the worst is Hive Wars Predator's right forearm wasn't assembled right. That one might be a deal breaker for many, but the pose I keep him in does a great job of hiding it.

Things like that Predator arm not being assembled right just irritate me. It underscores the major QC issues that NECA has on a nearly constant basis. Valuing profit margins over quality control isn't acceptable to me but that's the mentality of American corporations nowadays and that's not going to change anytime soon.

I never did get around to opening my Hive Wars Predator. It does appear that the arms on mine were assembled correctly but who knows, it could have some other defect that's not readily seen in the package like wonky hip joints so I'll probably just keep it in my MIMB collection.

I really wanted to get that Robocop that NECA made some time ago with the spring-loaded holster as it does appear to be a nice rendition of the character and that spring-loaded holster is an attractive feature. I ultimately decided to pass on it because of the lack of quality control that I've run into on the Predator figures.

Someone mentioned the quality control at NECA being hit or miss. I have to disagree, it's more like miss or miss badly.
