My brother got this and we were fairly disappointed in it as well. It's nice to have any kind of Smaug figure period, and if the rest of the Hobbit line had been handled better I'd be more forgiving on the size... but as it stands this is almost salt in the wound. It's a real shame Bridge Direct flopped this line so bad.

I wish Hasbro would somehow pick up the license for Middle Earth. A 3.75 LOTR/Hobbit line from them would be so awesome. The silence on the future of Middle Earth toys is so strange to me. I mean, regardless of how some critics feel about the movies, they've all done really really well financially and just about every single character is begging for an action figure. I don't understand how there isn't more merchandise for this franchise.
