I forget the specifics of each wave of the Superman DCSH line, but I remember Steel, modern Supergirl, and Cyborg Superman being in the either the penultimate or the final wave. They were relatively difficult to find at first, and even when they began showing up at discount retailers (after the DCSH line was cancelled to make way for the DCUC line), they were all still pretty tough to track down.
Cyborg Supes was the toughest to find. I was going to school in Atlanta at the time, and regularly checked the discount stores around there (and Savannah when back home), but still never spotted him.
But anyways, Steel is awesome. Like I mentioned a while back, his biggest flaw is that his shoulder pads limit the vertical movement of his arms. Other than that, he is an exceptional figure.
EDIT: Oh yeah, there is at least one variation of that Steel figure. The standard one has a matte grey Superman "S" on his chest, and the variant has a chrome "S". There were rumors of another variant with a bronze "S", but I honestly can't remember if that one was cancelled, or if he is just really difficult to find.
I have both the grey and chrome ones in the pictures, but it's hard to tell the difference in the pics, other than the slight glare coming from the "S" in the second pic.
thanks for the info brotha !! i noticed there are two different cyborg supes on ebay. the DC universe from i believe what this thread is about and i guess there was one from DC direct. the DC direct one is being sold or trying to be sold for outrageous amounts....
