I wish other companies that tackle similar franchises (STREET*cough* FIGHTER) would do the same. I can't wait for the master sorcerer from the Neatherealm. Mezco, you literally fulfilled a dream for me this past weekend.
Speaking of Street Fighter, after seeing how well Mezco has handled these Mortal Kombat figures, and since NECA seems to have abandoned their SF IV line a few years ago, I'd love to see Mezco handle the Street Fighter franchise.
Similarly to how these new MK figures are coincided to be released not long after MK X, the timing is perfect for Street Fighter figures, with Street Fighter V having a release date some time in 2015.
Even without the new SF game, SOTA proved, about a decade ago, that there was still a demand for a Street Fighter line even during an era when the popularity of fighting games, especially Capcom fighting games, was at an all-time low; an era when Capcom was mostly churning out rehashed stuff like Capcom Fighting Evolution
.
The timing just seems right for a new Street Fighter series, and Mezco seems like they would give us figures on par with, if not better than, the SOTA Street Fighter figures.
Lol, one can dream I guess...
