as for the price, i agree with you.. i feel like it's not all that much bigger than their standard kaiju figures. definitely not big enough to warrant the price.. now, if it had included an extra set of winged arms.. THAT would be awesome and totally worth the price. maybe it's the accessories that added to the price, or perhaps they were added to justify the price, who knows. i mean, it's not an astronomical price, it's just a tad too much when compared to the other figures in the line.

i sort of have one foot in with the pacific rim figures and one foot out.. i have a few of them, but not all of them. so, unless i win the lottery, i'll probably wind up skipping this one and put that money towards something else. it sucks though cause i really think it looks fantastic, definitely their best looking kaiju thus far.

If I didn't know Otachi's price and I had to guess, I would probably say she's a $50 or $55 value. The real price of $65 is only acceptable because she's my favorite from the movie and when I look at her next to non-PR figures from NECA her size is much more noticeable. I currently have her next to a RvT Endoskeleton on the shelf and she is clearly around 3x bigger than that $20 toy, her tail alone is about as big as a human sized figure. Like I said before I really really like her, but if the price is wrong for you then pass and maybe in the future she'll be on sale.
