Most SH figuarts fakes that i've seen are on the sailor moon line. If youre buying it from a reputable online dealer like BBTS I wouldn't worry too much about fakes. I would worry more about the sellers from ebay with little to no feedback.

The Japanese import figures truly excel in the small details and accessories but they also typically cost twice or triple the price of hasbro, dc, marvel, mattel offerings. Plenty of Marvel Legends figures come with additional heads/ interchangeable hands etcs. Marvel Select figures typically include a nice base or accessories (but remember these are 7inch scale).

Articulation is good with play kai arts but these are 9inch figures compared to 6 inch figures. I would personally just stick with S.H. Figuarts since most of my collection of figures is 6inch and I like my figures in scale together... even tho most figuarts figures are smaller than legends. Play Kai Arts figures get a little too stylized for me.

If your looking for Figuarts, check out the injustice Batman and Joker. They are still in production right now so the prices should still be in the 40-50 range and you can pick them up from amazon very easily. They also have a real bad ass Harley Quinn coming out in the summer to match up with joker.
