At least they are doing two masks with this one, with a second vac metal chrome mask being included, which looks a little bit closer to the original figure, and honestly, far better than the painted one. Still...it's not like there was a whole lot of new to sculpt with this figure though, since the body type was the Renegade/Jungle hunter build we've seen time and time again.
I'm kinda disappointed too that the figure doesn't include his weird black "flak jacket" that the original had. I was really hoping to see how it would have been incorporated, and it would have been neat to finally see snap on armor pieces, perhaps opening the door for future Predator customization options. (A "build-your-own-Predator" line would be SICK!)
I know it's probably lighting and camera tricks, but I really do hope that he has that semi green luminescent tint to him. Would really make the figure stand out and pop against the rather boring invisible yautjas we have already received. Honestly though it's kind of a lame exclusive, especially when compared to the recent non-exclusive figures we've gotten over the last year.
Speaking of exclusives, I finally picked up an exclusive from a few years back, Orange Sherbert
(Albino)
Predator (or who I affectionately refer to him often as "Sunstorm Predator" after the sherbert colored seeker from Transformers,) completing my "Dead End" collection of Predators.
