Silver Surfer time. Here I'm comparing SHS to the MU version that came with Galactus. First off, this is one of the better SHS figures. Mine has joints that can actually hold a pose, and yet aren't so tight that I've broken him. The paint job while simple, is very good. The board has a stripe of blue faded on it that really makes it look like it came off the page. The same blue is just barely dusted over the highlights of the figure and gives him a really shimmery look. Articulation wise he beats MU on almost every level. His torso is a bit of a downside; even though it has two joints, they don't have much motion in them. I like his board better than the MU one, the pegs hold better, and his ankles turn enough to let him use both pegs at once without falling over. The main/only downside I really see is the proportions are a bit screwy. He doesn't have much of a neck, and his arms are too long compared to the rest of his body. Also his abs are rather flat looking. I do like the face sculpt more than the MU, but it could stand to be a little bigger.
