Actually you don't have to buy your way in A league, these last 2 seasons I've been able to get into it and I would never buy the PVP bonus stuff with gold. The trick is I believe is to just play it on a balanced level, just get enough to get into whatever league you want, and obviously for A league you'll have to play enough consistently to stay in it but keep yourself at a good enough rate to just get into it easily. If you grind like mad and win so much offensively obviously you'll lose a lot on defensive mode. For me I was able to maintain a steady rate in V league and at the last week of PVP I got into A league, and even in the weekend I just did my daily and maybe 5-10 more and stayed between V and A league. Obviously that's just me and maybe I got lucky on whatever server it was or what not to not have to grind. Also just let the time refill your challenge pvp energy, that's what I did and didn't even use any of the BP until the 2 hours of PVP to stay in A league.
