That's why I asked if we were limited to one entry or not. But I'm pretty satisfied with mine and wrote in a blocked story point so I can't make another like it. Which is why I included that story point of what was left from the dismantled Adaptoid becoming inert.
Personally, I also didn't read the other entry until after I wrote mine. But that's more honor system reasons than anything and yeah I agree, maybe others should take more caution.
I love the disparity between the entries so far though.
Macy and Enrapture are both so unique and different yet also contain elements of that Marvel touch. Macy having classic Marvel and Enrapture having nuMarvel. I'm biased obviously because one's mine, but I feel they are both equally great in their approaches because of how different the elements are they draw upon.
Macy using the alliteration name even that classic Marvel is so known for. The comical elements, it really contains so much great thought included that makes the character seem like one that you really would see in older Marvel comics. It has that Marvel touch and blends so well into the larger Marvel history, including why none of us had heard of him until now!
Mine tackles more towards nuMarvel and diversity. Many elements even drawing on the #yesallwomen hashtag from awhile back. I even tossed in a very indirect Kyle Rayner element from DC. (The "super powered weapon found in an alley outside a dance club" his story had back when he was first created.)
So personally, I'd call it a draw because (well, hello, I said I was biased!) they both have amazing details and encapsulate different eras of what makes Marvel great. They cater to different kinds of audiences.
