That's absolutely brilliant, man. And yes, I do have a Coulson figure.
Unfortunately, their heads don't seem to pop off with anywhere near the same ease, and I'm not sure I want to apply too much pressure to test the neck joint integrity of these things. The Firefly Legacy guys have much better QC, but I dunno how far that extends. The heads are definitely on ball joints, though.
You will find me in a heap if I snap my Malcolm Reynolds, but I will take a closer look at it and try again soon. It's too good of an idea not to.
Don't risK you Mal on my account. I know the Magic figures had the ball joints, but it was that double joint with the peg in the middle , where Legends have the single ball. Either way I know that it is a ball of somekind and adjustments can be made. Even if I have to drill the head hole bigger on Mal. As soon as I saw they were doing a Mal in 6 inch scale and saw the Legends Chameleon coming, All I could think was how to make a Castle figure out of it. Sadly on the show Castle hardly ever wears a tie, he always has an open button look, but I am not going to complain if I can make it work. Plus he is kind of part of the Marvel universe. His Derrick Storm comics are put out by Marvel in the show and real life. :-)
