On Friday I went out and when I checked my TRU they had the NECA Terminator Endoskeleton in stock so I picked up two of 'em since they had like nine or so. It's a fine looking figure and is very faithful and accurate to the film, but that's also its biggest problem. Its legs, and ankles in particular, are so thin/frail that it can hardly stand for more than a few hours even on a base. Both figures are free moving with no stuck joints and the one of them took a four foot fall with no breakage but it's the falling that is the problem. I know a cheap doll stand would do the trick to support the back and brace the torso under the arms but it's still frustrating to have to deal with the falling. Regardless of current troubles I overall like them both and will keep one with its gun like the beginning of T2 while the other will have the limp walk going on from the end of the first movie. I just wish that Stan Winston hadn't given the Terminator such little feet and thin legs with a full upper torso, that and the almost useless toe articulation that NECA gave it.
Then today I went to the flea market again and scored some nicely priced Spawn figures. I got the blue Angela to go with the Necroplasm Spawn I got last week, and they do look really nice and very '90s together, and then I got the original Spawn and Redeemer since I like Spawn so why not. Unfortunately due to the toy's age the Redeemer's right arm is no longer attached to the shoulder except for the wires that light it up, with the cape on though it holds in place but I'll probably tape it from the back later to better hold it on and the tape shouldn't even be visible because of the cape.
