If you think every X-man has become " un marketable" overnight, and every Avenger becoming black, Muslim, or a woman overnight is "natural" I don't have a response. and as far as Marvel "laughing all the way to the bank... name two chain stores that actually carry physical comic books? the sad truth is they can get away with shitty writing political pandering, kill offs and emasculation of characters because NO ONE READS COMICS ANY MORE! Disney didn't buy Marvel to put out gritty cutting edge writing they make big budget summer movies and figuratively wipe there asses with print.
You are right, but poeple do not want to hear it. I completely agree. People here have slight arguments with me over action figures. I am not saying I am an authority or anything, but I am honest.

THe PCing started in school about ten years ago. So now if you disagree with changing a character's ethnicity or gender, you are a racist and a bigot.

So the PC culture is prevalent due to the media bias. THey see profits in being PC. Now a big part of PC culture is lack of free thoughts such as the SJW(SOCIAL JUSTICE WARRIORS). They are in essence egotistical and narcissistic. A lot of 20 and under have become SJW"s due to school, where no one is ever corrected, and every child is special. THis is what I have been taught as a teacher.

I am not white or black, with that said, blacks and females have a lot of money invested in the media and the PC culture. One has a groupthink mentality and females tend to have a herd mentality. Without opening a can of worms, you are right in your thoughts, but everyone else who is the above will be against you.

I know children who accuse their parents of being bigots and racists just for disagreeing with a trendy viewpoint. Sad part is the kids have no idea what being racist is or a bigot, it's just a word to throw around in the new PC culture which is liberal, left wing, media and ultimately monetarily driven.

But I heard recently comics have been selling very well, but they probably mean online combined with what little publishing takes place and put into actual physical stores. Most of new comic "readers," are casuals. This is where Disney and a lot of game companies sees profits. Thus they ignore TRUE, HARDCORE, LONG-TIME fans, and cater to the casuals. This leaves many real fans in the dust, until the market crashes on them, they will then run back to the hardcore to pick up the pieces.
