I personally haggle over everything when I am at conventions. Brick and Mortor stores are a bit different, but the outcome is usually the same. Plus if they have something else that is priced right you could do the ol' bundle technique (My personal favorite). I also feel like stores have something to gain by selling their dead stock for SOMETHING rather than it continue to collect dust, but a lot of stores I have hit feel like collectables appreciate in value the longer they sit on their shelves, which to me is ludicrous. If a figure doesn't sell for a year at $10 what makes you think it will ever sell at $15? Plus the rebranding made a lot of collectable stores raise the price of MU since it was no longer in production.
Do enlighten me on this Bundle Technique you speak of. I feel a lot more positive about haggling in that specific store now because the staff is nice and you made it sound like haggling isn't all that bad depending on where you are.
