Takara-Tomy have updated their website with a selection of new items, including two updates for the Transformers 2010 campaign - the page for the
Henkei Sons of Cybertron set
, available at CharaHobby 2010, has gone live. Predaking has also been officially announced for the 2010 campaign, with an image of him added to the
main 2010 Campaign page
. A page for the
Transformers Museum Event
and the exclusive Black Animated Optimus Prime available there has also gone live.
Also in this update are new pages for the August releases in the Japanese Transformers Animated line from Takara Tomy. These include:
TA-33 Rodimus
, who features a Generation 1 cartoon accurate shiny maroon finish.
TA-34 Samurai Prowl
, who is largely the same as his US release with the exception of a full color Autobot symbol and possibly some small additional paint applications.
TA-35 Sunstorm
, who follows along the lines of Skywarp and Starscream with a shiny finish on his nose and wings, although the difference between this application and the rest of him does not seem to be as pronounced as on Starscream.
TA-36 Swindle
, who features an additional full color Decepticon symbol, as well as some extra silver paint applications and what appears to be a silver barrel for his arm cannon.
TA-37 Waspinator
, who features some extra silver on his insect head. Bizarrely, this actually makes him less show accurate, but was probably done to differentiate him from the Hasbro release.
Cybertron Mode Optimus Prime VS Deluxe Cybertron Mode Megatron set
. This set has both toys feature metallic finishes, just like their larger releases. According to the URL, this is the "VS-F" set, bizarrely being released after "set G", also known as Safeguard.
Click on the links above to check out each of the updated pages.
