The thing about Hasbro is that they lack that whole "high-end collectible" type of approach to things. Look at the Transformers line, for instance. It's a very good toyline, don't get me wrong (I used to collect them myself until my interests took me elsewhere), but the entire line is centered around repainting old molds to make them into new characters. It works for robot characters based off of mostly real-world vehicles. Doesn't necessarily work when we're talking actual human beings of varying body sizes.

And yes, I absolutely agree that the facial sculpts are pretty generic. All of the characters have this generic stoic look, which I guess works for fitting them into different scenarios, but I want more figures to have a little more personality shine through. I love Pizza Spidey's absolutely cheesy (no pun intended) smile on his partially-masked face, or Rhino raging so hard that his eyes are just popping out of his skull. I'd like to see more of that, but that could just be me. Perhaps they can experiment with having alternate head sculpts that convey a different set of emotions. One stoic face and another face that better shows off each character's unique personality traits. For certain characters like Vision, they can just stick with a singular stoic expression, but I'd definitely want a Giant-Man with a face that gives off the impression of a great scientific mind under that suit. Hell, it's still kinda weird that Black Cat kinda has this blank expression since I'm used to her either smiling or looking seductive. Still a good figure IMO, but whenever I pose her it just doesn't look like she's having fun lol.
