I think it does factor in. Unless the new one is completely different, (not sure how it could be since they aren't doing Movie stuff)I'm not buying a new Apocalypse. I bet a bunch of people feel that way. With the costs of these waves and how much it costs Hasbro to make these you think they want to gamble on it? It may have been hard to get when it came out but you can get the Purple one for fairly cheap now and even the Black variant has dropped a bunch. They should be thinking about the consumers when making these BAF figures.
