Well...true story. I remember my firstborn was very young and we had just come out of a doctors appointment he had (it was one of those yearly checkups). Turns out he ended up getting a vaccine and for hours before the appointment he had been asking me, "Are you sure dad that I'm not getting a shot today?" I assured him that he wouldn't be getting one as when I called for the appointment that's what I was told. Well, my heart was broken as my son probably thought that I lied to him on purpose.
