I wonder if it's because Mattel is leaning on the "ever green" Batman/DC line to sell to boys. And because the upcoming movies lean more toward adult viewers, they are selling at least in the 6" format to this demographic.
I agree with the theory of Ravenxl7 is the best hope: There possibly being a few 4" figures from BvS that are sold exclusively at one of the major dollar chain stores. That happened with both TDK and MOS. If this happens, I predict it will just be four figures that are only 5 POA that are sized down versions of the 6": Aquaman, Armored Batman, Batman and Superman. (No Wonder Woman, because they are selling to boys, their illogical thinking goes.) But hey, these will probably be less than $6 each at least.
With this possibility in mind, I'll check out Family Dollar during the spring.
