Where's his figure? nevermind, don't need one...lol
Since you are in the NYC area, do you remember when NBC used to show DragonBall? It actually aired on Saturday mornings. I wanna place it circa 87'-89'-90'ish (that may be a little before your time - not trying to infantilize you, just don't know your age and I'm aware that I'm dating myself). Channel four aired it, but between the violence and possibly Mr. Popo (lol), it didn't last very long.
As for the figs, they are great. However, $50-plus a pop is reserved for only a few lines that I collect. Specifically, Gothitroplolis: Scarabus and Ravens (pic above)....and select/rare DCUC and Marvel Legends...I really like the pose-friendly nature of the figs, but I can hit most (if not all) of those postures with cheaper figs and my imagination.
yeah...lol..imma let Mr. Popo slide on this one...i'll pick and choose my battles..it's still FOUL...but....
Yeah..it's crazy sometimes I'm like..I'm not paying no damn $15.00 for a figure..but i'll turn around and shell out 50.00 for a DBZ with the quickness..luckily they come out sporadically...and not a bunch in waves.
dont recall DBZ on regular TV..but right around 89-90 is where I'd start to not be fully aware of what was going on cartoon wise..
and some Random
Match Made in heaven..
