Yeah, but C-3PO moves like he's in a body cast. I wouldn't call that combat-effective.

Technically every alien species that isn't strictly humanoid could be called xenomorph since it's just the grouping of the Greek words for foreign/strange and shape. Hell all insects and most every fish is applicable to the term.
