Not sure how if you read comics in the 90s. There was even an old flash animation about how ridiculous it was with Cyclops setting up all the X teams and Wolverine having to run back and forth because he was on EVERY X team. In the 2000s they even added him to other teams such as The Avengers. That being said, I would never say he hit Spidey's overall popularity.


And of course who can forget the staple of the 90s? Women with breasts twice as large as their head while wearing itty bitty tini bikinis.

Oh yeah I love that being a teen during those my times haha reading the comics. I think every artist was kind of going off Liefeld's style with the pouches and boobs during that time.
And yes I remember that story when Wolvie would complain that he couldn't get enough rest cause he was on way too many teams.
