They've been my top 5 favorite X-Men for as long as I've been an X-Men fan and I don't see it ever changing.

I'm actually bummed that Hugh Jackman is hanging up the claws after the next Wolverine movie but I commend him for being so committed to the character for so long. Going on 16 years now if I'm not mistaken and no matter the quality of the movie he gave some great performances.

I'm a bit bummed to see Jackman go too, but what I would really like to see is Mel Gibson cast as Old Man Logan. He would own that role.
