Fant4stic - Where do I want to start? How about the good? It's better than Hulk and X-Men 3. In fact, the first 45 minutes were actually pretty decent. If this had been a straight up science fiction movie about a brainy child who finds a way to travel to a parallel dimension and they set out to explore that, it would have been a good movie despite the fact that none of the cast had any chemistry. However, it goes downhill the moment they get their powers. There was absolutely NOTHING super heroey about this at all. In fact, it felt like they decided to drag out the first half hour of a super hero movie into a 100 minute movie and called it a day. Everything that occurred when "Doctor Doom" appeared and started destroying **** should have been earlier and then they actually built him up as a threat from there. Nope, they didn't do that, they just crammed him into the last 15 minutes of the movie and didn't even take the liberties to even make him resemble Doom. He is clearly the worst aspect of the movie, not to mention he was by far the worst actor here. If you want over acting, this is your man. Good god, what the hell happened here? The rest of the cast are clearly good actors, but this jackoff was phoning everything in as if he was the new Hayden Christiansen. Oh, but the worst part is, the last hour of the movie is just flat out BORING!! In the end, I give this thing no one wanted a 4/10. But hey, look on the bright side, it sure as hell ain't Jonah Hex bad.
