Mark Brooks only seems to do covers now days. He did the covers to Fearless Defenders and Ant-Man as of late and both books were good.

Before that he had a small stint in Uncanny X-Force, I remember him drawing AOA Jean and the figure that was based on his look.



I think there are a ton of great artists these days and Marvel not taking the conventional guys DC uses lend themselves to better stories as they set tones better together. Perhaps it could just be my tastes but Stuart Immonen is the greatest guy out there right now and others like Valerio Schiti, Sara Pichelli, Mahmud Asrar and David Marquez are right up there.

I will say, guys like Kirby, Bryne, Romita, Buscema, Adams and the often forgotten Sienkiewicz are untouchable greats. Byrne alone was a beast pumping out multiple titles and handling the writing and art of FF, Alpha Flight and the classic Sensational She-Hulk.
