Really, Bandai should have kept it up with that 9-10-inch line. It was the best thing ever; great articulation, great sculpts, and accessories and a very good price.
The problem was, even with just two initial figures, they sat on shelves. People weren't buying them at all. I bought an extra SDCC Lion-O for $8 on clearance at TRU. Then the move to 6" killed the Bandai collector line all together as you had both the 8" and 6" versions on shelves at the same time. Bandai's handling of the license was horrid, even though some of the figures were genuinely well made.
