I know they wanted to distance themselves from ASM, but the suit from ASM2 was flawless. This new look screams "Big Time Spider-Man", which cause my skin to crawl. The animated eyes also do the look a disservice, as it makes it TOO cartoony. Did he steal Rorschach's mask and dye it?

Don't get me wrong, I am excited to see Spidey finally in the MCU, but for as much time they have been prepping and hyping this, it feels underwhelming and left me disappointed.

Ah, I wasn't aware that Feige said that. Thank you for the info. I did love his look in Amazing Spider-Man 2 as well. I'm on board for this one too, but my excitement may just be from finally seeing him with the Avengers and holding the shield.
