i think it's sort of a shame that they can't do them in their proper animation style. i'd love real rebels versions of them, the rest of the cast, and a rebels version of vader and maul.
In a way...I'm kind of glad that they didn't do them in their animated style, as for me, it would actually encourage me to NOT display these with the rest of my Black Series collection, since they would look off with the realistic look of the other figures. This has happened with my regular collection of Star Wars figures, as most if not all of my Clone Wars animated stuff is posed and displayed away from my regular Star Wars figures, as I feel the animated look, while awesome, creates too much of a discrepancy between the realistic look.
I feel they did a really good job with bringing these characters into the "real" or "reel" world if you will, and seeing them realized actually gives me some hope that maybe we might see these characters realized on the big screen in one of Disney's spinoff films someday. While the Kanan figure is a bit more generic, the Ahsoka figure is really impressive, as you can actually see a hint of Ashley Eckstein (the voice of Ahsoka on both TCW and Rebels) in the sculpt.
