I understand, and I sort of agree but it kind of comes down to cost vs. availability in some cases. If I only want one or two figures out of a wave, $20 each with tax and shipping is acceptable to me. And LL and Gamora are the only two I want from this wave; Gamora is still more than I will pay. On the other hand if I wait for these figures who knows how long I will actually be waiting....six months? one year? two years...who knows.
On the other hand if I want the whole wave I know I can just order it online and it ends up being a little less. Also if there's a figure I might end up wanting at some point but not a huge want for me, I don't mind waiting until they decrease in price closer to $13 or so.
That's my balancing plan for cost vs. want vs. compulsive addictiveness to what I want...I guess it works for me.
