While not the same licensing situation, they did manage to re-release the SDCC Jason Voorhees (with a slightly different scheme and box.)
A second edition box set in NES colors with an NES theme that plays when you open the box flap would be awesome.
No doubt. Actually I believe it, it's sad to say it could be toy politics and ways to boost sales because if you think about who is gonna spend the extra dough if they know there is another option out there, right? Probably only like 45% of that original intended market would be my guess.
I'm new to NECA i been collecting as a collector since 1996 but I always just bought action figures as a after the fact back when toys were relatively cheap. When it was easy to buy 2 of everything in a transformers wave/line. That's w hat I collected and opwned. I didn't even open my Trendmasters Voltron and now I cant find it. So toy biz ML dC direct and
Gijoe pretty much stayed in pckg. Neca a.t.t. was into making statue figures. But recently last year I started in with the Alien line, and Robocop, and now I'm getting terminator, adding to my alien collection, and picked up Predator figures too with more lines pre ordered. I find they have the most detailed realistic sculpts and the new added articulation to their figures, like the Rocky figures, is excellent!
