That has still literally never happened to me and I'm currently at around 75 NECA figures, far too many to say it's luck. I was just speaking from personal experience,my first Keaton Batman's left knee snapped taking it out of the package,Reeve's knees won't swivel no matter how much heat or boiling water I use,saw more than a few 8 bit Batmans and Predators with limbs floating around in the package,not to mention all the posts I've read regarding breakage issues,it appears you have been quite lucky!
