Yup, then Bendis in typical Bendis fashion wrote some dumb arc to explain how Star Lord (although not his sudden appearance change) and Thanos came back and killed off Rich. Then he started blaming DnA for killing him off, even though Andy Lanning had previously outlined their plan if Marvel Cosmic was not yanked away from them.

I can only imagine what awesome stories and perhaps awesome Legends would have come out of what they would have written.
