Seems the mighty minis updates have been pretty quiet recently, so I decided to go ahead and make my own for the time being.
So I started with Nightwing
The build is the same as I said in one of my previous posts;
Head- Robin
Everything Else- Batman Beyond
Paint- Gundam Marker Black & Blue
painting him up was pretty easy considering that all I had to do was follow the sculpted detail. If you decided you wanted to do this, however, I'd suggest using the armor batman as it's not sculpted out of clear plastic and easier to see where you've applied paint.
Next is Red Robin and he was a little trickier
Head- Modified Kryptonite Batman
Body- Flash
Paint- Black & Gold Gundam Marker
Since I didn't have enough flash heads to go around, I wound up using an extra Kryptonite batman and shaving down the ears on the head. The chest symbol and other details were added by hand (as seen by the sloppy paintwork). If you are to try this, I'd suggest using the flash head and cutting off the lightning bolt ears then slap on some black. The reason I used the flash body was to make painting the center circle easier so I'd definitely recommend that as well
Next up is Red Hood
Head- Modified Batman Beyond
Body- Kryptonite Batman
Arms- Flash
Legs- Robin
Paint- Gunmetal, Black, and Red Gundam Marker
This was pretty difficult, especially the red bat symbol. I painted the symbol using an Exacto knife and the rest was messily done to give him a damaged effect (also because I screwed him up a little so I just made it battle damage). Any Armored batman chest would have worked but I stuck with the Kryptonite one because I had a spare
The final Boy Wonder I made was Damian Wayne Robin
Arms & Legs- Kryptonite Batman
Everything Else- Robin
Paint- Black Gundam Marker
This one was the easiest one to do considering all it is was swapping parts and painting the back of a yellow cape black
Anyway, I have more customs but I just wanted to show off my Robins for now. I also don't know if this post belongs on this thread or the customs thread so I'll just test the waters with this post. With that, I'll leave you with a final picture of all four of them together
