I can definitely understand the appeal of saving space by switching from physical to digital copies.
I've always wondered how people who live in tiny apartments in large urban areas store their collections.
My current place isn't exactly spacious, and I've had to convert a dormer area on the second floor into something of a makeshift walk-in closet to house my boxes of comics, along with my collection of trades and a large portion of my action figure collection.
My tastes in comics these days is pretty specific, so the number of comics I buy each week tends to be pretty small, but if I were still reading voluminous amounts of comics like I did a few years ago, I might consider switching at least partially to digital, to avoid being surrounded by walls of boxes.
