Thanks amigo…well, these are just some of my grails (my entire collection will not fit in a few pages). Oh yes, good eye. If you’re asking about that Modern Red Tornado is because you have some knowledge on this topic and I like that…Long story short, he’s a one of a kind (only one known in existence). Without mentioning names (as I was asked not to by my seller), this man (I will refer to him as “the professor”) was directly involved in the final decision board for Mattel as far as DCU is concerned. I bought this from his daughter and she is the one that told me his story. He was there from the beginning of (my favorite toy line BTW) DCSH until wave 20 of DCUC. That toy line, in my opinion, changed the way a 6” action figure should look and feel. He became a professor at Harvard University right after leaving Mattel according to his daughter. She tells me that he kept one of each figure that he was ever directly involved with (this I can confirm because what she showed me…is pure “plastic gold”). I paid 4 digits for this figure…and guess who’s been looking for me “hunting” for this figure? Yup…Jordan Hembrough, the Toy Hunter himself (more than likely for a client of his). BTW, the Toy Hunter was after my MU Grails too according to Arker UKMU. UKMU knows firsthand because he was the middle man when I purchased these figs. Anyways…I’ve been offered 5 digits for these fig…I’m not letting this one go folks…sorry!
