We really didn't, I still have a few movie maniacs lying around. I guess we got caught up reveling in, for the time, the amazing sculpts. We didn't know we also wanted articulation because it wasn't even an option.

Even Neca, that started with Action Figures....but not good ones.

As he said above "here is your Freddy Figure, you can move Head and 1 Arm and thats it"

Now the Ultimate Versions will follow, even from Older Predator Figures, that had very good articulation in the Beginning.

It is because even Neca realized what fans really want.

There are statue collectors out there, i know, but i think
ever collector wants to....change the poses of the Action Figures on the shelve from time to time.
Yep NECA's come a long way, I actually ignored them for awhile because they appeared so much like what McFarlane had already given us. Then in 2013 I decided to check back in them and was immediately quite impressed with how they had included more articulation without compromising the look or the price point. I kinda wish I had gotten into NECA a bit sooner because I missed out on some pretty good stuff, although with the ultimate Jungle Hunter predator coming out that crosses out the big one I missed.
