Also there is something really disturbing about guys championing the deaths of basically all the female characters in a tv show.
Yes, but they wrote her to be an unlikable little twat that deserves to die. The moment she started to be able to walk again she just decides to abandon Ollie despite how much he comforted her after being paralized because he was forced to not tell her about his son. That was some of the biggest character assassinating moments in television history and they have forever ruined Felicity for me. As such, her character is just as bad as the writing team.
It's a shame too because Arrow's fourth season started out really strong. Sure, the Constantine episode felt a little rushed, but was still a highlight of the season and the crossover was good. This season of Arrow also had some truly impressive fight choreography and battle cinematography going on, and it started out in a more light hearted, comic booky direction, that it should have ended up the best season of the series. Instead, the writers' let their balls drop off and they got scared of the direction they were headed, so after the mid-season break, they wrote themselves back into the same pile of crap they did in the third season. I've never seen a show go downhiill so quickly in just one season. Flash is the only reason I'm sticking around with Arrow and Legends.
In fact, the crossover episode is the only reason I'll be buying the fourth season of BD.
