Transportation officials in Chicago say 13 bus routes will be detoured this week while crews continue filming for Transformers 3. The Chicago Transit Authority says the bus reroutes start today at 7 p.m. and go until 6 a.m. on Friday (More information here). Crews have been filming in the city all summer. So far, that's included helicopters flying in the area for aerial shots, stunt parachutists, crashed cars and sets that make parts of the city's popular shopping district on Michigan Avenue look like it's in ruins.

But, our members report that the usual TF3 hustle & bustle is gone and that they are cleaning-up the streets. It is quite possible that the crew is filming some minor scenes while the main crew is heading elsewhere. Past few weeks were fun with all the information pouring from the streets of Windy City.
