It's that time again - no, not another news update full of failed attempts at wit and humor from yours truly (that will come when I don't work in less than 7 hours), it's time for another
TFW2005 Sound-Off!!!
The Transformers have been around for over 25 years. That's older than half of our user-base (gross uneducated estimation)! In those 25 plus years, we've had NUMEROUS Transformers series, each with their own specified titles. If you'd like to count them, in no specific order and probably one or two left out, they are:
Generation One, Generation Two, Machine Wars, Beast Wars, Beast Machines, Robots in Disguise, Universe, Armada, Energon, Alternators, Titanium, Cybertron, Classics, Movie, Universe 2.0, Animated, Revenge of the Fallen, Generations, and arguably, Hunt for the Decepticons
. If you want to get even MORE creative, you can throw in
Masterpiece and Beast Wars 10th Anniversary
as they were actual, named, labeled toylines. Well, except for Masterpiece ... kind of. But sort of.
We've gathered and compiled a small list of series that haven't received much love, one or less figures released in the last handful of years, and literally no storyline attached to those figures since their initial conception.
And we want you to vote for a series that you think needs a little more love.
Example ... Beast Wars was given a 10th Anniversary celebration, complete with new molds for old figures! Do you think Machine Wars, Robots in Disguise, or Beast Machines got any love for their anniversaries? Do you think Tidal Wave will ever make another appearance?
Stop wasting time and vote on your favorite forgotten series!
Yes, we've failed to list some series due to their continued popularity and vague Hasbro replies about the future of those series (Beast Wars). We've also left out recent releases (in the last 18 months or so) of various toylines that are defunct - Animated, Titanium, Generation Two (BotCon anyone?).
Not a member of the TFW2005 Boards? That's easy-peezy to fix my friends! Simply

and then you can

! And who doesn't want new friends?
We'll eventually post up the results of our poll in a future update with some of your comments. Thanks for participating and who knows ... you never know who may be watching the results of our votes! Except Michael Bay, he's too busy blowing up Chicago. Like the Minnesota Twins. BURN!
