It's not just that they don't seem to want to make new molds or even upscale old ones, it's just the decisions they make altogether with hands period. Batroc and Ghost Rider are not known for using firearms, yet come with two trigger hands (fists would have been preferable for Batroc.) Fantomex had those wierd hands that couldn't hold his weapons properly. Vision is often depicted performing open handed gestures, yet nearly all of them have two fists. Eel is given standard fisted hands but Electro is not. Wonder Man's ion fisted hands were smaller than his normal ones, and Nuke and Punisher came with hands that had no trigger fingers (yet Cable and Deadpool do...) It's almost as if they aren't paying attention sometimes during the figure designing process.
Let's not even get started on the lack of hand choices for the women.
Glad Panther comes with something to properly hold the spear at least, since the clawed hands wouldn't work all that well, but the least the could have done was just give it a standard gripping hand. SMH
