Welcome back TFW2005.COM faithful! A week ago we asked you "What past Transformers series deserves more love?". Well, as expected you showed up and you voted your fingertips off in yet another fun-filled, opinion-spewing, fanboy-raging poll!

Thank you for participating! We received nearly 600 votes this time around! Let's get down to that special recap!

As you can probably tell by the title picture, nearly half of all users who participated voted ROBOTS IN DISGUISE as the series that needs more love (41.82%). There were various reasons, but the main ones seemed to be that it's the line that brought the casual fan back to Transformers, or that the toys took the Beast Wars engineering and applied them to realistic vehicle Transformers, or for the fact that the cartoon itself was fun and campy, never taking itself too seriously.

Member Chris McFeely stated, "Robots in Disguise, definitely. It's the consistently-overlooked "red-headed stepchild" of Transformers. I'm really happy to see Fun Publications giving it some love, with Sky-Byte in the BotCon set and Side Burn coming up next year."

Our second place winner goes to Beast Machines, the "hated by reputation" series that I doubt many newer Transformers fans have watched. 22.38% of you voted that it needs more love, with literally, I'm not even kidding, the common request being new, updated Maximal toys. Do you hear that Hasbro? A new Supreme Cheetor!

Member Draven made an amazing post for Beast Machines, one so amazing it can't fit in what space I have left on this post! So, go check out his post and be awed.

Rounding out the bottom three were, surprisingly, Alternators at 17.90%, the Armada Energon Cybertron trilogy at 12.05%, and last but not least, Machine Wars at 5.85%. Nearly every fan wanted to forget Energon altogether, but felt that the stories and mythos brought up from Armada and Cybertron could easily be fleshed out more. Alternators fans just want some sort of official North American storyline for the series. Half the Machine Wars votes were people who thought they saw Beast Wars and mis-voted. The other half were drunk. (NOTE: JOKE. END NOTE.)

So do you hear that Hasbro? We want more ROBOTS IN DISGUISE! In recent news for ROBOTS IN DISGUISE lovers, the show itself was originally owned by Saban Entertainment (creator of "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers") and was sold off, packaged in a deal as "Fox Kids" and "Fox Family" ("The Family Channel" became "Fox Family" became "ABC Family", which ABC is owned by Disney ... see the correlation?) to Disney back in 2002. Well, Saban has recently reformed and repurchased all of its old entertainment shows back from Disney, which includes ROBOTS IN DISGUISE.

Fingers crossed! Stay tuned for a future Sound-Off! which should get plenty of attention! Thanks again to everyone who participated.
