I think as of ALIENS hicks is just about as important as ripley ( barring whether or not the disavow alien 3 & 4 which honestly they should. ) as he and ripley became a central focus. Whereas alien ripley was one of two survivors ( yes i count jonsey the cat as a survivor ) ripley and hicks both survived the encounter as well as newt and bishop ( plus jonesy was still alive on the Station ).

If i read blokamps interview the game is not going to be cannon after his movie is made........IF it gets made.
